Recipe: An ice cream scoop with...

Ingredients
4 cups rolled oats
1 cup sliced almonds
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup raw sunflower seeds
1/3 cup canola oil
1/2 cup honey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Method

1. Preheat oven to 150 degrees C.
2. In a large bowl, stir oats, nuts and sunflower kernels together.
3. In a separate bowl, mix together oil, honey, vanilla and cinnamon. Add to dry ingredients; mix well.
4. Spread mixture onto two ungreased baking sheets.
5. Bake in preheated oven, for 10 minutes, remove from oven and stir.
6. Return to oven and continue baking until golden, about 10 minutes.
7. Remove from oven and let cool completely before storing.

Party Game Idea

Living Mirror

This is suitable for ages 4+. You can award prizes to the best pairs.

In pairs the kids should decide who is going to be the mirror and who will be the reflection. The mirror should do everything his/her partner does. Feet must stay still at all times.

Call out a series of actions like brush your hair or eating spaghetti. Swap roles regularly. You can also play music - switch it off like musical chairs.
