1 February 2011 Hello *|FNAME|* That’s it, we are done with newsletters for January 2011 – can you believe the end of the first month is already gone? Rain has literally been pouring down from the sky, wreaking havoc in some places and bringing relief for others. Parents planning parties suddenly have to have a plan B – just in case it rains. Now that we are in the month of love and Cupid, I’m sure you will be receiving handmade cards send home from school. So we decided to add a little recipe with each newsletter to feed your little monsters! Lunch Box Ideas: Chicken Salad for Work or School
Pre-heat oven to 180C. Mix all ingredients except the chicken
to form a sticky basting sauce. Coat the chicken and place on a baking
tray in
the oven and cook
for 20mins, basting regularly. Serve on a bed of crunchy lettuce. Garnish with
sesame seeds and spring onions.
Pack in a cooler lunchbox for the first period (or 10-11am) hunger. |
