Party Theme Idea: Christmas

I love Christmas. I love to decorate the tree, Christmas lunch, wrapping gifts... unfortunately I don't enjoy shopping during the holidays.

If you child's birthday is in December, you would know that getting a party organised with all the friends away is a nightmare.

Party Snacks:

  • Gingerbread men/woman
  • Christmas cake
  • Fruit mince pies
  • Caramelised apple pieces (like toffee apples, just cut into smaller pieces)
  • Pizzas with red and green toppings (tomato, peppers, spinach)
  • Candy canes
  • Sugar cookies - decorate as Santas or Rudolpg the Red Nose Raindeer
  • Rice Krispie treat snowballs - roll the balls in fine coconut
  • Ice cream
  • Popcorn strings
  • Red and green juice

Party Ideas and Décor:

  • Use sticks to make a Christmas tree, decorate with cookies on strings, popcorn strings, paper snowflakes and gingerbread men
  • Give the children Santa hats
  • Hang bells on string from the roof or tree branches - as the wind blows the bells will chimes
  • Use your Chritmas lights to liven up any area

Party Invite Ideas:

  • Make gingerbread men that could become great tree ornaments - add a string to its head and write the invite on the back
