Recipe: Octopus Sausages

Planning a sea or mermaid party theme - then make a few octopii. This is an easy to make and delicious snack.

Ingredients:

• Packet of chicken or beef hotdog sausages
• Mustard
• Tomato sauce

Directions:

1. Cut the sausages in half almost to the halfway mark
2. and then cut it again... and again - so the octopus has 8 legs.
3. Now take the mustard and give it eyes.
4. Use the tomato sauce to give it a smile.
5. Unfold the legs and spread them to keep the head up.

Smart idea:

Make meal times a little more interesting by topping green spaghetti with an octopus or 2. Either use spinach pasta or color normal pasta with a little food coloring.
