Aunty has a bad day

The other day I replaced my car?s tyres ? but did I have a nasty surprise when I tried to swipe my credit card!

I know for a fact I transferred my monthly budgeted amount into my account ? so when my card was declined, I was quite surprised.

I jumped onto their computer and logged into my account and raised the limit ? for in case the husband swiped it.

Horror ? my card was declined a second time! Luckily the admin people let me pay via EFT. It was just so embarrassing!

I have to admit, this was not the first embarrassing moment I have had when wanting to pay for a service that is not really reversible.

I once had my car refueled and my tyres inflated ? just to discover that I forgot my purse in my drawer at the office some 20km away ? and that I had R7 and some change in my purse.

Luckily hubby was already close so I could bum money from him.
