Alien Goo Science Experiment
- White polyvinyl acetate (PVA) glue / wood glue
- 2 disposable cups
- Food coloring
- Water
- Borax Powder
- A plastic spoon or wooden stick to stir
- A tablespoon to measure
- Fill 1 cup with water & add 1 x spoonful of the
Borax - stir.
- Fill other cup with about 2.5
cm of glue.
- Add three tablespoons (20 ml) of water to the
glue and stir.
- Add a few drops of food coloring and stir until mixed.
- Add one tablespoons of Borax solution (cup 1) and stir well.
- After the slime
forms, leave it for about 30 seconds and then pull
it off the spoon and play.
Silly Putty Tips:
- Putty can stick to clothing, so have your child wear an apron.
If it does become stuck on clothes, just soak in warm water
to remove.
- Keep your slime in a tightly closed plastic bag when you are not playing with
it.
