Planning a party for small children brings quite a few headaches for DIY moms. Keep these party planning tips in mind when planning your child's birthday party.
  • Rather give invitations to parents that giving it to young kids ? or follow up telephonically with parents to make sure that they have received it.
  • Invite only your child?s friends, rather than the whole class.
  • Always have your camera ready for those priceless moments at your child?s birthday party
  • Keep the matches in your pocket and ready to light the candles.
  • Have an activity ready for kids as they arrive for the party, like colouring.
  • Plan activities before the party to keep the kids busy.
  • Parties should be kept to a maximum duration of 2 hours. Stipulate the drop-off and collection times clearly on the party invite.
  • Children love pre-packaged loot bags ? but make sure all contain identical treats!
  •  Small boxes of fruit juice will see fewer spills.
  • Outdoor venues are better and easier to clean. Make alternate arrangements in case the weather turns gloomy.
